The feature enables direct calling from the base of contacts where the phone number is indicated, just with one click.
When integrated with the telephony service:
- after clicking on a number, the telephone set of the contact clicked receives a call
- when the phone is answered/speaker phone mode is activated, and the service gives a notification at the beginning of establishing connection with the subscriber
- connection with subscriber begins, callback tone sounds
When not integrated with the telephony service, the phone number looks like a link in tel format:
- while working with Friday CRM from a desktop or laptop, the link will open in any software that ensures voice communication, e.g., Skype. If the appropriate software is unavailable, the system will notify that the protocol is unknown.
- when clicking on the number from a mobile device with calling function, the link will display the dial keypad.
