{"id":573,"date":"2020-01-14T04:47:09","date_gmt":"2020-01-14T09:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fridaycrm.com\/blog\/?p=573"},"modified":"2020-01-16T23:40:44","modified_gmt":"2020-01-17T04:40:44","slug":"basic-term-task","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fridaycrm.com\/blog\/support\/basic-term-task\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic term: Task"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is an event that requires execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A task has a creator and an\nowner (person in charge).<\/li><li>A task can be associated with a\nContact and\/or a Deal.<\/li><li>A task can be public or\nprivate.<\/li><li>Instead of priorities,\ncolor-coding is used.<\/li><li>Tasks can be filtered by\nvarious parameters and saved filters. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The philosophy of CRM systems insists on planning each step (or the philosophy\u00a0 of CRM systems insist that each step should be planned). If you follow this approach, then a <strong>Deal without a task is not allowed<\/strong>. However, this remains a recommendation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In contrast to the usual task managers use\nin time planning, the <strong>completion date is\nmore important in the CRM system<\/strong>, and not the start date of the task.\nTherefore, the interface emphasizes the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) The tasks as notes \u2014 deals can be\ncreated within either the deal profile or the contact profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) Tasks can be created directly within the\nTasks section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Task\nvisibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The task is divided by visibility (access\nto view)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>\u201cPublic\u201d &#8211; visible to other\nusers in the account<\/li><li>\u201cPrivate\u201d &#8211; personal, or\nbetween 2 users; other users do not see tasks, including admins<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For these types of visibility, it is\npossible to set different G. Calendars. So, for example, if the user sets\nhimself a task, then it will synchronize to a private G. Calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of <strong>task notifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Push notifications instantly\nthrough the browser (activated by default)<\/li><li>Email notifications (to\nactivate, click on the user icon in the upper left corner -&gt; personal\nsettings -&gt; advanced). An email is sent with a delay of several minutes\nafter creating a new task.<br>\nIf you don\u2019t find an email, check the spam folder or write to us about the\nproblem at <a href=\"mailto:support@fridaycrm.com\">support@fridaycrm.com<\/a>.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sync\nwith Google Calendar*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Tasks are <strong>synchronized at the time of creation (sent from CRM);<\/strong><\/li><li>Tasks can be received from\nG.Calendar in the CRM by clicking the button in the Tasks section;<\/li><li>Tasks deleted from CRM are\nautomatically deleted from G. Calendar;<\/li><li>Tasks marked completed in the\nCRM will remain in the CRM, but will be deleted from G.Calendar;<\/li><li>Delete tasks from the CRM\nremotely via Google Calendar by deleting both&nbsp;\nof them: from the calendar and the CRM. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Priority\nof tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a more flexible approach, we look to\nthe philosophy of <strong>Google Calendar\u2019s<\/strong> <strong>use of colors<\/strong> instead of priorities.\nRed, for instance, may indicate the highest priority.Color filtering is also\navailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* To synchronize, you must have a Gmail\/G Suite account and be authorized on Friday CRM using this account beforehand. At the time of the very first visit, the CRM will request permission to access Google Calendar, and you should click &#8216;allow&#8217;.
